パングマオ村からのお手紙

仕事でお世話になっている大宅氏が、かねてよりチェンマイの“カレン族”の人々を支援していることを聞き、今回のタイ遠征の時、踊り子さんにもお手伝い頂き、Ｔシャツをお届けすることができました。

そして、今日、早速、お礼のメールと可愛い写真が届きました。

大宅氏からは、皆さんとても喜んでくださり、Ｔシャツが汚れるからと、袋に入れたまま大事そうに持って帰ってた、と報告がありました。

タイ語も話せず、教育も受けられず、収入源の少ない村の支援を地道にされてきた結果、村始まって以来、初めての大学生となった青年からの英語のお手紙です。

以下、お手紙を載せさせていただきます。

３月１５日大宅さんを通していただき、１８日に村へ届けた５２枚のＴシャツに対しパングマオ村民を代表して厚く御礼申しあげます。

私の名前はＮＵＩといいます。
パングマオの村民ですが現在チェンマイの大学で勉強していて毎週末、村へ帰り、自分が外の世界で習ったことや、村の長老たちから教わったことを子供たちに教えています。

先週末は、村伝統の剣舞練習の後、いただいたＴシャツを配布させていただきました。

画像をご覧になっていただいてお判りのように大人も子供もとてもよろこんでいます。
なかには恥ずかしがって後ろに隠れていますが・・

今回の寄付を本当にありがたく思い、泉様とご家族、会社に神のご加護とお幸せをお祈りさせていただきました。

またとりわけ津波から復興の道を歩んでいる日本に神の祝福がありますように・・

またチェンマイに来られる機会ありましたら、是非パングマオ村へのご来訪お待ちしています。

On behalf of villagers in Pangma-o village I would like to thank you for your generous donationvillagers on 18 March 2012.

My name is Nui. I am one of Pangma-o villagers. I am studying at University in Chiang Mai.And every weekend I will go back to my village to teach what I learn from outside and to betaught from old man in village. And this week after studying about Karen traditional sworddancing I gave villagers T-shirts which help villagers very happy. You will see in the picturesthere are mostly children, and some old man, and youths. Some are behind the camerabecause they did not dare to take photo.

We are very happy to receive kind gifts from you. And we pray that you and your family willmeet always good things in your life. We also hope that your work, company and any businessyou do will be always successful. And especially for your country, may God bless and be withyour country always.

And if there is any time you are in Chiang Mai, Thailand we are welcome to our village,Pangma-o(Karen village). Thank you so much again.
